Going from bone stock to boost. Have a 94 Accord EX. Tell me what I need to make this happen. Looking to achieve 400+hp (preferably 450+ but not going to be picky) and not looking to piss around either. I wanna do this the right way the first time. Keep in mind I also want to do an H22 head swap. And my budget is roughly 8-9k and that's going to be invested completely into the motor.

The reason for 400+ horses is because I'm the G35 scene and I go to the meets and everything but there are times when I can't get the car and I have to troop it in the Honda and I want something to hold myself down with. And to get their idea of Honda=Rice out of their minds as I'm pulling away from a dig.
Also because I didn't think I was going to keep the car, I was just going to get rid of it and hop in a 95 M3 but I would rather finish something and have some rep in the East Coast tri-state area than abandon the project.

So I come to you guys for advice and suggestions as to how I should go about this. Figured you guys would know best seeing as how this is a forum specifically FOR these cars :D

How many people here are using an aftermarket TPS, how did you calibrate it, where did you leave it set at (volts, %throttle)?

As some of you may know, I just installed an Omni-Power B-series Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

Calibration:
I’ve read on the internet that the TPS wire back to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) should show 4.5 volts at Wide-Open-Throttle (WOT). I installed the TPS and did adjust it so that the TPS wire showed 4.5 volts at WOT. With the TPS adjusted as such, my data logger program showed 14.11% throttle at idle, but I ignored it despite the Helms saying that it should be 10% at idle.

The Problems:
Since getting my car back on the road (WOOT WOOT), I’ve noticed the idle hunts around, the transmission downshifts really hard, and Shift Lock Solenoid wouldn’t allow me to get it out of park.

The Solution?:
I readjusted the TPS based how my idle sounds. I turned it back until the hunting stopped. I looked at the data logger and it shows 5.9% throttle while output is in the 3.8-4.3 volt range. Now the idle sounds great and the Shift Lock Solenoid had released Park from its clutches. In a moment, I will take it for a spin and see how it downshifts.

The Question:
Has anyone else encountered this issue? How many people here are using an aftermarket TPS and how did you end up having it adjusted?

I've felt for a while my headlights are in serious need of a makeover so I'm looking for, from you guys, some en-headlight-enment....... ok that was weak, moving swiftly on...

The JDM CD6 headlights found here, were kindly brought to my attention by one of our new midwest members who is also the proud owner of a super clean Accord which sports these lights. They look tight as hell and I want them badly.

However, the depo lights, found here, are very similar and from reading various threads a lot of you folks are no strangers to Depo products.

I was hoping you guys can shed some light (no pun intended) on what I can expect in terms of differences, durability, fitment etc. I'm by no means a label whore. I don't have to have it because it's JDM. I'll be quite happy with saving a hundred bucks and getting the cheaper alternative if this isn't a case of 'you get what you pay for'.

Any opinions would be appreciated. I made the mistake of buying ebay black housing projectors for my last accord and they were total muck so want to get it right this time.

Ok heres the dilema. My clutch pedal starting going to the floor. I popped the hood and realized the clutch master cylinder was empty. I filled it up and like a week later same issue. I did some looking around and see fluid on the floor as if its leaking but cant see where. The runner boot thats on the slave cylinder is covered with fluid though and I am not sure if that is where the leak is coming from or maybe thats the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also the clutch is slipping in 3rd gear when i am on the highway I am not sure if the fluid problem may be related. i will be changing my clutch soon. How hard is it to change the slave cylinder because it appears to be connected to the fork on the release bearing. thanks for the help
