Hopefully not a total lost

Just got back from the hospital after getting hit on my side. Accident happened today at 10:45am, so I wasn't able to make it to work. From what I saw I had no stop sign and the other driver had one. As I was crossing the intersection he was moving towards me, tried to honk at him, but it was already too late. Spun a 180 before I stopped. Luckily there was a police women directing traffic 50 feet away and a bystander called an ambulance. Went to the nearest hospital and got there at around 11. But I didn't get checked on until 1:30. Kinda weird how long I had to wait. I was only able to take a few pictures since I was rushed to move my car and to get in the ambulance. Got the police report number and filed my claim. Time to take my medication and rest.

Yeah, thats what I figured since its around 1200$ for the door, 800 for the bumper, and 3500$ for the quarter panel. But I'm still hoping for the best. This is my first car and had some pretty good memories in that. I wonder what it would cost to buy it back from the insurance if it is totaled. I heard they pay 20% more than what its worth?

And if it doesn't Hit me up. I might be interested in those leather seats of yours! I am a local so that's another plus! And Sorry for the loss.... I know how it feels to get into these situations...

Got my police report today and went to a body shop to make an estimate. I guess its pretty much a total loss. It is going to cost $8k to fix. Probably just going to take the check from the insurance company to get another car. I probably wont be able to sell my leather seats, although the are in near mint condition, so I can get the max value of my car. Looks like I'll probably get about $6k back. Low milage FTW! The only thing I can sell is my AEM short ram intake(red), it is cut a little in order to fit my V6 accord. It is originally made for the 98-02 V6 accord. I only had the intake for less than a month before the accident so I would say maybe 500 miles on it max. I also have a brand new factory cargo net, not even opened since the Honda sticker is not ripped. Also have a Honda 96-97 service manual, its silver with the Honda logo. If anyone is interested I can post pictures. The cargo net and service manual both came after the accident so I have no use for them anymore.
