i just inherited a bose speaker system for my home stereo and they sound bloody great! i'd rate them with my fathers kef concerto speakers, not the new concerto's but the old original one's which are still a highly respected speaker.
but back to subject. i'd advise against cutting holes to suit subs in a parcel tray in any thing other than a hatchback. it a fairly large piece of structural steel you are cutting holes in, and unless you are going to reinforce once you cut it, you are just weakening the car. i run 2 jbl gt 10s in a sealed box and have room for my golf bag and trundler and still have room for a couple sports bags. i dont see the point of running bigger subs than that even for so called "competition" if you can call db drag racing that |

Lol... When i had my CB7 i had a 12" sub in my back seat
not really pic I cut a hole in the center of the back and had a fiberglass enclosures made to come thru the seat
