You forget something that "Rice" today is no longer just about parts that people put on their cars. It is about driver attitude as well, A ricer today can be someone who has a clean looking car but drives like a complete asshole and/or endangers lives.
That video although fairly funny just goes to show how bad some things can get but it should also show how little some people know too. That Silver hatch near the end looked alright, silver hatch with clear tails blended really well however it is a very thin line.

btw, funny video. I loved the Ricer Eclipse with the Pizza Hut sign on top of his car. That just screams "high performance". ...it must do something for his aerodynamics.

OMG. i could only imagine people like that existed. that poor little prelude is probably pretty fast with that GSR motor in it. but with that "jewel" of an owner behind the wheel, i guess we'll never know.

i know this is an old thread, but both those videos are funny and the "ricer song" was also super funny. around here, it doesn't matter if you've done anything to your car or not, if you're at all proud to own a Honda, you're considered a ricer. brings tears to the eyes of my soul. it's the ignorance and blind hate that gets to me, not the things they say.

today i talked to a guy a used to be alright friends with whom i hadn't seen in about two years and i was talking to him about his eclipse, genuinely interested in what he was doing with it, I replied "yeah that's my accord over there" and he glanced over his shoulder breifly "echh, yeah, your little honda huh?" yeah fuck you too.

I'm not trying to start anything, but I laughed when I read this as I have two friends that where stoked to bring home there new used eclipses from the dealership. Both of them spend more time trying to fix drivetrain issues on them than enjoying them. So your buddies statement would verry easily br reversed by me. LOL no offence to any eclipse owners that don't have issues though.

I think it would be funy if you get your car built enough to smoke all the honda "nay sayers" in your area. good luck!!
