Gen5Alive Site wide reconstruction update; Gen5Alive is currently in rebuild of the entire discussion forums, tech/diy area, arcade area, photo gallery and store as of 5/1/2011. This is a complete redesign of the entire forum structure as well as a reformatting of forum topic headlines and artwork. The arcade will also be getting updated with a greater selection of games and a more interactive feel. The photo gallery is giving us a bit of grief however, Back in February our servers were hit by a virus which cause the gallery index to be corruped. We are attempting to repair the damage but if we are unable to fix it, a complete wipe of the existing gallery and all 10gb of images from members will have to be erased to restore the gallery feature, rest assured we are attempting to do all we can to avoid that. The store server is also being worked on. This means more products and more vehicle markets we can serve. You can also check out our facebook page to see live updates from our store in Norwalk.

Gen5Alive Pulleys; Gen5Alive is currently in re-negotiation with a new vendor to produce a lightweight crank pulley. The fitment will be for F22B1/F22B2 motors and may fit some H series. The planned weight reduction is 45%. Materials are still in discussion and this is the farthest we've gotten on the endeavor. We had a tentative vendor earlier for this project but due to unforeseen difficulties and a fluctuating pricing schedule we were unable to continue and were stuck at a standstill. The progress made with our new vendor is quite satisfactory and I look forward to the ultimate end product
Update for this news flash as of 10/5/11; Gen5Alive has selected a new fabrications facility in the state of California and we have successfully put this project into a prototyping phase.

Events page; We have had many requests from members to keep posted about events and such in the Southern California Area. If we kept up with every request that would equate to about 1,752 emails per week send to about 800 people alone. An epic task you agree? hahahahah We started a new site for this task and it will encompass everyone in the Southern California region.
